Here is a fun product from a Rhino user, Handy Camel. It's their contribution to combating global warming with water conservation.
The Garden Thorn is simply a spike made of recycled plastic. It's a nifty irrigation device that injects water three to six inches underground and eliminates runoff and evaporation, so plants get the water they need at the roots.
The Garden Thorn spike is placed in the ground, not on the surface like soaker hoses. There is no runoff or evaporation.
It is an easy to use, underground irrigation system requiring:
- A garden hose
- A rubber mallet to protect the thorn when tapping into the ground
- A hose end-cap for one end of the hose
